It’s all
in the name
A mandala is an ancient eastern symbol used to represent the
circle of life. It’s a positive, unifying force and an
expression of oneness and calm. We think it pretty well sums
up everything we’re about, so we've taken it as our name.
Our aim is to bring the essence of the mandala into your
home. The idea is to create a space that gives you back all
the energy a hard day sucks out. Everything we do is about
making your home a place you want to be, a space of inspiration,
peace and tranquillity.
Attention to detail
There’s none of this flatpack, put-it-together-yourself
palaver. Our furniture comes fully assembled, after 12 weeks
of careful construction and attention to the finest details.
We don’t skimp on materials, everything is solid, and
we use traditional pin and dowel techniques and dovetail joints
for extra strength.
When inspiration strikes
Our heads are always full of new designs, and before we finish
the last piece we’re getting excited about the next
one. So keep your eye on our site or drop into our shop to

Where east meets west
You’ve probably guessed that we’ve got a thing
for Asia. After many journeys over many years, it’s
got under our skin. You might spot the vibrant colours of
Shanghai in our cushions, the simplicity of Zen in our chairs,
and the strength of the samurai in our tables. But Asia hasn’t
only given us inspiration. It’s given us some firm friends
too, not least the Javanese master craftsmen who make our
furniture, transforming the finest sustainably managed and
reclaimed local timber into elegant contemporary pieces. |
